Gun Barrel Pilings™
Gun Barrel Pilings are uniform diameter (no taper) solid wood pilings that combine the strength of regular round pilings with the uniformity of square pilings.
Stronger than comparably-sized square timber pilings, Gun Barrel Pilings deliver uniformly clean lines while maintaining the tree-like appearance desired in zoo and park projects. These pilings are available untreated or treated to any retention level for land or marine projects and can also be coated with Polyshield polymer coating for extended longevity.

Available FSC and SFI Certified
Gun Barrel Pilings are available FSC Certified® for LEED or other green projects. Pilings can be custom cut, sleeved, pre-drilled or otherwise modified to meet specific project needs.

Because they are manufactured, Gun Barrel Pilings are more readily available in large sizes than square pilings. They are currently available up to 52 feet long (15,849.6 mm) and 20 inches diameter (508 mm).
