Tekcrete Fast

Tekcrete Fast is a specially designed, highly adhesive and extremely rapid hardening, high performance gunite. Fiber-reinforced, this product offers strengths over 8000 psi, and can be used in conventional, dry-process gunite equipment. It is ideal where immediate structural strength is required.

Description

Tekcrete Fast was developed in response to customer demand for a gunite with effectively immediate strength on application. The product can be used with or without steel or polymer mesh, although the mesh will provide additional tensile and flexural strength. Binding broken strata together for better structural integrity, Tekcrete Fast can be used anywhere in a mine where conventional gunite is used and as with any coating or sealant, it performs best when applied as soon as possible after the strata is exposed. Including rebound, Tekcrete Fast has a surface coverage of approximately 8.2 ft2 per 60 pound bag at a thickness of 12 inch.

Tekrok Pro 2500

Tekrok Pro 2500 pumpable construction cement is ideal for small- to medium-sized construction projects. Examples for uses of Tekrok Pro 2500 cement include belt drives, heads, take-ups, crusher stations, belt tensioners, track switches, shop floors, sump holes, topping-off overcasts, etc.

Description

Tekrok Pro 2500 cement was developed in response to customer demand for a high-strength pumpable cement for underground construction projects. It was specifically designed for pumping through our placer unit. The placer meters and mixes the proper amounts of water and powder as it pumps the Tekrok Pro 2500 material. Fifty-four 50 pound bags of Tekrok Pro 2500 powder are used per cubic yard.

The cured Tekrok Pro 2500 cement is non-shrinking and dries to a durable, off-white finish. The material has a pumping life of up to 30 minutes and sets in 5–8 hours. Tekrok Pro 2500 cement is especially suited for small to medium sized construction projects, or for projects where the convenience of a pumpable cement is required.

Tekcrete Pro 1500

Tekcrete 1500 is ideal for large vertical and overhead structural repairs where a rapid hardening product is needed. Bridge and parking structures, supporting columns and beams, seawalls, tunnel linings, slope stabilization, dam, mine entry support and mine sealing are just a few of the applications for Tekcrete 1500.

Description

Supplied as a ready to use dry powder, formulated for dry mix shotcrete requiring only the addition of water. Tekcrete 1500 is a specially formulated blend of special cements, additives and carefully graded aggregates which when mixed with water results in a high build, dense low absorption shotcrete mortar. The controlled set feature allows 10-15 mins of working time for troweling if needed. Very high early and ultimate compressive strengths are achievable. Each 60 pound bag of Tekcrete 1500 contains approximately 0.45 cubic feet of material.

Description

Supplied as a ready to use dry powder, formulated for dry mix shotcrete (Gunite) requiring only the addition of water. It may be applied wet but ask Minova for guidance. Tekcrete Pro is a specially formulated blend of microsilica cement and carefully graded aggregates which when mixed with water results in a high build, dense, low absorption shotcrete mortar. The required low water-to-cement ratio ensures high early (and ultimate) strengths. Tekcrete Pro shrinkage compensation minimizes stress at the bond line. Each 60 pound bag of Tekcrete Pro contains approx. 0.45 cubic feet of material.

Teknite

Teknite is a high strength cement coating ideal for quickly coating an entryway with a strong durable sealant. Uses include the prevention of spalling from moisture ingress and helping ensure the structural integrity of mine passages. It is an excellent alternative to gunite or shotcrete without the mess.

Description

Teknite was developed in response to customer demand for a more easily applied gunite with improved adhesion. Teknite can be pumped through a variety of Minova approved electrical, air-powered and hydraulic-powered equipment.

Teknite is a non-shrinking cement that dries to a durable off-white finish. Teknite has a pumping life of up to 30 minutes and sets in 5–8 hours. Teknite is especially suited for large remediation or preventative sealing.

  • Good Adhesion: contains polymer latex for superior adhesion
  • Attractive: dries off-white

Anchortite

Anchortite is used for grouting high strength anchor bolts, starter bars in concrete and anchors in rock. Suggested applications for Anchortite include light and heavy rail track anchoring, setting of highway lighting standards, anchoring of precast median barriers and signs on highways. Handrails, guardrails and pipe protection stands around safety areas are excellent applications for Anchortite.

Description

Anchortite is a two-part, fast setting, free flowing polyester resin anchoring grout, consisting of a specially formulated liquid resin and hardener. It is designed specifically for anchoring bolts and dowels in concrete, rock, brick and masonry. Always perform pull out testing to determine the performance in each situation. Anchortite resists oil, grease, fats, mild acids and alkalies, fresh and salt water. Where exposure to a specific chemical is anticipated, consult Minova directly.

Lokset® Resin Cartridges

Description

The Lokset system consists of an easily handled cartridge, containing a highly reinforced polyester resin component, together with its catalyst, in accurately measured quantities. The components are isolated from each other by a physical barrier which prevents reaction between the components until required. The cartridges are sausage-shaped and designed for rapid insertion into a range of borehole sizes, where they may be readily pushed to the extremity at any angle above or below the horizon. Therefore, optimum bolt anchorage in a wide range of rock or concrete strengths is easily achieved simply by adjusting the length of the resin anchor zone.

No reaction takes place until the roof or rock bolt is rotated through the cartridge, mixing the components and initiating the curing action. The chemical nature of the Lokset cartridge allows the contents to be easily mixed, yet minimizes resin runout after mixing is complete. The mixed resin fills the annulus around the bolt. Standard “point” anchorages will be firmly interlocked with the substrate and bolt within minutes. The setting time of the resin components can be controlled. A combination of fast- and slow-setting cartridges makes possible the simultaneous operation of anchoring, grouting and tensioning a rock bolt. The simplicity of this method of anchoring/grouting eliminates the need for cumbersome injection equipment.

  • Vibration: Lokset anchors are not affected by vibration and require no re-tensioning even after close proximity blasting
  • Stress-free: no internal stresses are set up in the rock or concrete by resin anchors
  • Low insertion force: Lokset anchors can be specifically formulated for easier penetration when hand held equipment is in use
  • Variety: Lokset series resin cartridges are available in a wide range of options to suit project requirements
