Transportation Terminal MTA New York City Transit Is Seeking To Retain A Consultant To Provide Construction Management Services For A 34 Month Period, On Design & Constructio Of A Bus Annex In Staten Island. The Consultant Should Have Prior Transit Experience; Providing Construction Management Services In A Design/Build Environment; Experience With Constructing Bus Depots Or Annexes, Maintenance Facilities & Industrial Shops; Experience Managing Construction Facilities Using The New York State's Energy Conservation Construction Code. The Consultant Will Provide A Range Of Pre Construction, Construction, & Closeout Services. Pre Construction Services Include The Review Of Design Build Documents. Constructability Reviews & Coordination With Utilities Contractors. Construction Related Activities Include Ensuring The Project Is On Schedule & Within Budget, Obtaining Shop Drawings & Submittals, Performing The Functions O A Resident Engineer, Reviewing Change Orders, Payments Processing, & Claims, Performing Inspections For Quality & Safety Requirements, Construction Oversigh & Inspections, Conducting Biweekly Progress Meetings, & Assisting In Securing Necessary Permits & Licenses, Etc Design & Construction Of A New Bus Annex On A 470,000 Square Foot Parcel Of Land, Approximately 80,000 Square Foot Annex Shall Include Bus Fueling , Revenu Extraction, Bus Washing, Maintenance Area Consiting Of Fifteen Bus Workstations & One Chassis Wash Area One First Floor With A Mezzanine & Second Floor For Offices, Locker Rooms & Support Areas; The Annex Shall Be Design For Diesel Fue Buses, Outside Exterior Parking For Approximately 200 Buses & 200 Employee Vehicles
