School Laboratory, College, University - Miscellaneous Concrete Foundation, Wood Structural Frame, Other Exterior Wall, Pre-Manufactured Wood Truss Roof Structure, Asphalt Shingle Roof The general scope of work will include, but not be limited to, constructing an eleven hundred square foot research facility at Thompson Farm in Durham near th intersection of Bennett Road and Packers Falls Road. The majority of the 2'x 6' wood frame structure will rest on a concrete pad, although a 15' x 15' full basement area is designated for some equipment. Required is 400 amps of electrical distribution some 220v. single phase, approximately three tons of ductless air conditioning, a heat recovery ventilation system and some supplemental electric baseboard heating well and septic by others. The site conditions are challenging and environmental impacts must be minimized.
