Bridge[s] & Culvert[s], Road[s], Excavating & Grading This project consists of 2 parts. The first part being the construction of a Collector-Distributor System (1.1 kilometers westbound and 1.0 kilometers eastbound) adjacent to State Route 161 from a point 0.6 kilometers east of Interstate 270 to Big Walnut Creek. The project also includes the reconstructio of the State Route 161/Sunbury Road Interchange to provide access to both the Collector-Distributor System and State Route 161. Additionally, there will be the widening of Sunbury Road through the Interchange area, the replacement of the Sunbury Road Bridge over State Route 161 and the widening of the existing State Route 161 Bridge over Big Walnut Creek. The second part consists of addin two lanes in each direction to Interstate 270, reconstruction of State Route 16 and directional ramps. The work includes the construction of nine bridges. The length of this project is 2.301 kilometers with an additional length of 1.718 kilometers of work along State Route 161. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this pre-bid meeting.
