Marine Work, Road[s], Water Piping, Excavating & Grading, Flood Control Maintaining The Haul Road Network; Treating The Existing & New Primary Haul Roa Network With Magnesium Chloride; Groundwater Dewatering; Constructing Haul Roads; Traffic Control; Clearing & Grubbing Vegetation From The Tailings Excavation Areas; Excavating Approximately 482,100 Cubic Yards (CY) Of Tailings/Impacted Soils & Railroad Waste Materials From Silver Bow Creek & Its Floodplain; Transport & Load Tailings / Impacted Soils & Other Waste Materials In Railcars, Unload Tailings / Impacted Soils & Other Waste Materials & Place I A Repository At Opportunity Ponds Cell B2-12, Construct A New Stream Channel & Streambanks, & Backfill The Floodplain With Material From Designated Borrow areas. The Borrow Areas Will Be Excavated To Specified Final Topography & Prepared For Revegetation. The Work Includes Construction Of A System Of Trenches, Sumps, & Sediment Basins For Groundwater Dewatering In The Floodplain Groundwater Dewatering Of A Given Area Shall Commence Two Weeks Before Other Excavation In Order To Provide Sufficient Time For Dewatering. Mine Waste Materials In Railroad Embankments Will Be Covered With Rock Material. Non-Deformable Stream Channels Will Be Constructed Near & Through Railroad Bridges. Seeding Of Streambanks & Under Erosion Control Mats Is Required As Part Of This Project.
