Project Description:

Airport Construction, Road[s], Electrical Work, Excavating & Grading, Fencing, Pavement Markers, Miscellaneous Civil, Flood Control, Sitework Project Is To Construct New Taxiway (Extension) "H" at the Colorado Springs Airport, Past The East Edge Of Taxiway "P" And The West Edge Of Taxiway "M." Must Be Constructed To Design Group IV Standards. Taxiway Is 75 Feet Wide, Has 15-inch Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement Section Placed On A Six-inch Cement Treated Sand Base With 24-inches Of Re-compacted Subgrade. Project Includes Installation Of New Edge Light Fixtures Including New Base Cans And Transformers. All Cable Runs Will Be Placed In Duct With Appropriate Drainage And Counterpoise Protection. Signage Will Be Installed According To Latest FAA requirements. New Drainage Systems Will Be Installed For Flood Protection, And New Taxiway Markings Will Be Painted After The Pavement Has Been Completed.
