CMD, one of the leading providers of construction project information in North America, today announced its participation in the Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) fall conference, held October 27-30, 2014 in Rosemont, IL.
As a continuation of CMD’s support of the plumbing industry and of PMI, CMD increased its presence at the annual conference this year to include sponsorship and a speaking engagement during the conference.
During the Advocacy and Outreach track, CMD’s Tim Duggan, Director of Customer Solutions, and Wendy McBay, Senior Director of Marketing, spoke to the group about the impact PMI members are having on specifications nationwide. Using proprietary CMD data, the duo explained current trends in building specifications that include water saving criteria, and pointed out opportunities to use CMD’s data to increase penetration in that regard.
“We were pleased to have the opportunity to attend PMI’s conference and to speak to the group,” said CMD’s senior director of marketing, Wendy McBay. “In particular, we are enthusiastic about leveraging the synergies between CMD and PMI to help further PMI’s cause of safe plumbing and water conservation.”
